Sentencing Delayed In Double Murder Case

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Sentencing is delayed for woman convicted of killing her ex-husband and his fiance.

Dana Chandler will now be in court August 20th instead of June 1.

The change granted Friday was expected, since Chandler got a new attorney.

The state is seeking a "hard 50" sentence for Chandler's conviction in the deaths of Michael Sisco and Karen Harkness. The couple was found shot to death in Harkness' Topeka home in July 2002.
