LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- Sentencing is delayed for an Illinois man convicted of tying up his children in a Walmart parking lot in Lawrence.
Adolfo Gomez and his wife, Deborah Gomez, of Northlake, Illinois, were arreted June 13.
Police found two of their kids, ages five and seven, bound by their hands and feet and blindfolded in the store parking lot.
Deborah Gomez pleaded no contest to child endangerment and was sentenced to one year probabion.
Adolfo Gomez pleaded no contest to felony child abuse and child endangerment.
The sentencing was delayed because he requested a new lawyer.
