TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) -- A Topeka road was closed into Tuesday afternoon after a 14 foot tall semi attempted to go under a 12 foot overpass.
It happened just after 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. The truck tried to make the clearing on 25th Street, just East of Kansas Avenue after dropping of a load of tools at the nearby Harbor Freight.
Crews had to wait on another semi truck to arrive from the Shawnee area to pick up the remaining cargo.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
