TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Some young patriots showed off their American pride Tuesday.
More than 100 children from the Security Benefit Academy donned red, white and blue and lined up for a 4th of July parade through the atrium of the business. The Academy is Security Benefit's on-site child care facility for employees.
The celebration was moved inside to stay cool. The kids marching in the air-conditioning instead of the summer heat!
The parade has become a tradition to kick-off the Independence Day holiday.
