TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A company picnic broke a record tonight at the Topeka Zoo.
The Security Benefit Corporation held its annual picnic at the zoo Saturday evening.
Executives say it's important to recognize and celebrate their employees' hard work.
More than 1,600 associates attended, a record for the company, CEO Michael P. Kiley said, including the company's retirees and extended family members.
The family-friendly affair featured games, bounce houses and activities with animals for the kids.
