TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--The Seaman School District continues to see its enrollment rise, expecting to hit the 4,000 student mark this school year.
Enrollment in Fall 2012 was 3,956. District officials say the growth is spread evenly across the district so class sizes have stayed low. The average class has 21 students.
The district hired 38 new teachers which is the highest number of teachers they've had since 2006.
They have added about 65 students each year over the past eight years.
