Seaman Middle School Celebrates Pi Day On Viking Campus

The "Pharrell" of the celebrity mathematical world makes a special appearance at a local middle school.

Seaman Middle School math teachers organized an array of classroom activities to coincide with the 24th annual Pi Day.

Viking students learned that Pi is an irrational number, that continues without repeating.

Extreme Pi enthusiast have a special celebration at 1:59 aka Pi Minute.

Classroom activities culminated with a school wide assembly.

Another slice of Pi information, March 14th is actually Pi Day and it coincides with Albert Einstein's 135th birthday.
