TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ Seaman and Shawnee Heights High School traveled to Kansas City to play at Kauffman Staduim Saturday afternoon.
Both schools sold vouchers for Royals tickets to be able to play eachother at the MLB stadium. The weather has been pretty touch and go lately but it held off so both teams and spectators could enjoy the game. Attendees even got a chance to tailgate before hand.
Earlier in the week, Kauffman Stadium was covered in snow and crews had to remove some remaining snow off the field by hand. Friends and family could even been seen wiping water from Saturday mornings rain off of their chairs for a dry seat.
Seaman ultimatelty took the win over Shawnee Heights with a score of 4-2.
