TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - One local high school put on their walking shoes to help celebrate school spirit.
Highland Park High School's Army Junior ROTC led the way for the school's homecoming parade Friday afternoon, carrying a large American flag and chanting, "U-S-A!" as they made their way down California Avenue.
Cheerleaders, drill team members, club members, staff and, of course, the football team all took part in the festivities.
The Scots take on the Hayden Wildcats for homecoming.
