TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The 2014 political scene was the topic of discussion as a roundtable discussion Thursday night at Washburn University's School of Law.
Scholars from across the state attended the event to discuss and answer questions about the current political season.
Experts focused on topics such as the legislative session, Governor's race, and school finance.
University of Kansas Political Science Professor Burdett Loomis believes this year's legislative session has changed.
"I'm not sure, as I noted, that it's quite as smooth as usual because we're still waiting for the school finance decision and a lot of these legislators have their own agendas," said Loomis.
Loomis said they also revisited columns they wrote in the past -- and updated them based on today's legislature.
