TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Good ole' Saint Nick has come to town and he arrived to Topeka in a big way!
Children peered through the fence to wave to Santa Claus as he arrived on the Union Pacific Train
"Hi Santa!" says, 6-year-old Hannah Gerheadrt. She says she was so excited to see ole' Saint Nick .
"Because he's awesome and gives lots of presents," says Hannah.
Santa's entrance was all apart of a festive event at the Great Overland Station. This was Hannah and her mother, Melissa Ribordy's, first time to be apart of it.
"I just thought it would be fun for my daughter and I to have a day together and come out here," said Melissa.
From riding on a mini--handcar, scribbling in coloring books, taking pictures with Santa Claus, to making arts and crafts, children say the number of activities were endless.
"Play with toys and drink hot coco," says 3-year-old Bubba Warren.
"You better watch out, you better not cry, I'm telling you why," sings Kyler Carpenter while playing his guitar.
