LIBERAL, Kan. (AP) _ A 9-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a tractor-trailer in southwest Kansas.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Caleb Garcia, of Liberal, was riding his bicycle on a city street and approaching a highway when he failed to yield to the truck.
The Hutchinson News reports (http://bit.ly/KGudhd ) that the tractor-trailer was heading west on the highway when it hit the child.
