TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Topekans ran through the capital city to assist those in need of help paying transplant expenses.
The 18th annual Run For Life took place Saturday morning at Washburn University.
The 10-mile run began at 8:30 Saturday morning and included a separate category for 2-mile walkers and runners.
Participants also had the chance to attend a health fair after crossing the finish line for healthy treats.
All proceeds from the run and walk went to benefit the Topeka Organ Transplant Organization to assist families with transplant expenses.
