TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Military members, law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs who sacrificed their lives in the 9-11 tragedy were honored Monday.
The 5k "Run for Justice" took place at the Brown versus Board of Education. The event began with a brief opening ceremony showing appreciation for the police and fire workers in our community.
The event was free to enter but donations were accepted for the Police and Fire Memorial Fund.
