TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A routine inspection will have traffic on one bridge moving a little slower Monday.

The Willard Bridge over the Kansas River will be down to one lane beginning Monday, October 7 at noon. It will be reopened by 5 p.m. that day.

The Kansas Department Of Transportation is conducting a routine ultrasonic bridge pin inspection on the bridge.

The inspection is to ensure the bridge's structure is stable.

KDOT advises motorists to drive with caution and follow the traffic signs and flaggers.
