TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka's Arab Shriners and Topeka RoadRunners hockey players are teaming up to raise money for children.
The RoadRunners will wear special Shriners jerseys during their games March 22nd and March 23rd. Fans will have a chance to buy or win the collectible gear. Businesses can have their logo included in the design for a $500 donation to the cause.
Money raised will benefit Shriners Childrens Hospital in St. Louis.
The Shriners operate 22 hospitals across the country and treated their 1 millionth child last year.
