On May 5th 2012, Riley County Police Officers responded to a 911 call in reference to an
Aggravated Robbery located at 809 N. 3rd St. Manhattan KS (Little Apple Express gas
station).
Salil Gautam, DOB 06-30-1979, reported an unknown male entered the Little Apple
Express gas station at approximately 0219 hrs and brandished a weapon demanding he
turn over the money in the store. After receiving the money, the suspect then fled the
area on foot with an undisclosed amount. This case is still under investigation.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male or possibly Hispanic male,
between 5’7 and 5’9 in height, medium build, wearing sun glasses and a dark in color
hooded sweatshirt with a white front and blue jeans.
