TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins had the chance to learn more about the concrete business.
Jenkins toured Capitol Concrete Products in Topeka to get a further understanding what the business means to the local and state economy.
The Congresswoman said, "Every industry seems to have a unique issue to their professions or their line of business and this is the best way to find out how i can help is to come and visit with them."
Jenkins says the tours allow her to see how decisions in Washington affect local business. The Republican faces a challenge from Democrat Margie Wakefield in next year's election.
