Reno County Meth Lab Raid Results In 11 Arrests

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ A raid on a suspected methamphetamine
lab in Reno County has resulted in 11 arrests, including one man
who was found hiding on the roof four hours after the search began.
The Reno County Sheriff's Office says many of the arrests
Thursday night and early Friday happened hours after officers first
arrived with search warrants.
The Hutchinson News (http://bit.ly/xW0Zyn) reports so many
people were showing up at the house in Hutchinson that officers
parked a patrol car in front of the home to keep others from
coming.
Sheriff Randy Henderson says an active meth lab was operating in
an upstairs room that was accessible only through a window.
Officers seized a small amount of methamphetamine and three
empty tanks that previously contained anhydrous ammonia.
