TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Nothing beats the summer heat quite like a swim in the pool and children at the Capitol Federal Natatorium are learning to do just that this week.
Red Cross Certified Swimming instructors are helping kids levels 1 through 4 learn water safety and how to swim.
Lessons begin with floating and splashing and progress to upper level swim strokes while building confidence with each level.
After 3 sessions of 2 weeks, there is one more session remaining before summer ends.
