Recycled Rides For A Cause
TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__Washburn Tech held its open house Saturday and featured some like-new rides.
The Recycled Rides Repair Marathon was part of the open house and folks got to come out and see students working on 2 vehicles that will be donated in May to families in need.
More than 10 area firms donated parts, supplies or techs to help make the vehicle repairs. Washburn Tech is the first educational institute to be a Recycled Rides training facility in the nation.
