(WIBW) - The 3rd annual Ranch Rodeo and Old-Fashioned Fun Day is planned for Saturday, Oct. 6th at the Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex.
Grounds open at noon with events beginning at 1pm, including the ranch rodeo events, mutton bustin', ranch-hand competitions and silent auction. A dinner begins at 5pm with a live auction to follow.
Money raised benefits continued development of the facility, which serves as Jackson County's new fairgrounds.
The Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex is located south of Holton, a quarter mile from the Hwy. 75 and 214th Rd. intersection.
