From RCPD

Effective 12-20-2012 at 07:00 AM, the RCPD has entered into an emergency traffic accident response and reporting phase due to weather conditions.

Until further notice the RCPD will not respond to traffic accidents unless they involve road blockage or injuries. Additionally the RCPD will not take reports on most accidents during this time.

Drivers involved in accidents are advised to:
• Remove yourself and your vehicle from the roadway
• Exchange information with the other driver(s)
• Arrange with the other driver(s) for a time to file a report at the RCPD later in the week.

From TPD

Phase III: Officers will investigate only injury, Hit & Run and accidents with disabling vehicle damage. Refer all others to the Police Headquarters at their earliest convenience.
