TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-They say one man's trash is another person's treasure and that's what brought many people out to a public auction in Topeka Saturday.
USD 501 held its school surplus public auction Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 pm at the Boisen Building.
Items up for bids ranged from school supplies to pianos, kitchen items, lunchroom tables, boom boxes and more.
Organizers say they have this public auction twice a year to help the community.
