Pottawatomie County Announces Drug Arrests

The following is from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office:

On 3/12/12 Pottawatomie County Sheriff Officers arrested James R. Bastion (W/M 02/11/88) of 703 6th Street, St. George. Bastian had been involved in a motor vehicle accident West of St.Mary's on US Highway 24, 25230 Highway 24 at about 6:20 p.m. Bastian was uninjured in the accident, however was arrested after Deputies located an unspecified quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bastion was arrested for DUI, Possession of Marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bastion is currently being held in the Pottawatomie County Jail, bond set at $10,000.00

On 03/13/2012 the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant for illegal drugs at 425 E Webster Street, Louisville, Kansas. Detectives seized unspecified drug paraphernalia. Reports forwarded to the Pottawatomie County Attorney for review and possible charges.

On March 14th, the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 703 6th Street, St. George. Arrested were Jacob Taylor W/M 02/22/1989 (resident) and a 17 year old female. Both Taylor and the juvenile female were charged with Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The Juvenile female was released to her parents. Bond has not been set for Taylor who is currently in the Pottawatomie County Jail.

In addition, the Sheriff's Office executed two additional Search Warrants in St. George this same day, 3/14/2012 one being at 501 Ash Street, St. George and the other at 501 Spruce Street, St. George.

Arrested was Ronald Ince W/M 08/09/63 charged with Possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ince is currently confined at the Pottawatomie County Jail, Bond has not been set. Ince resided at 501 Spruce, St.George
