Pooches Pose With 'Santa Paws'

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Santa's four-legged friends got a chance to meet with the big man this Satuday.

Dogs and their owners celebrated a timeless tradition at the Helping Hands Humane Society's new shelter on 21st Street, the first at the spacious facility. Pooches posed for "howliday" photos with Santa at Helping Hands' annual fundraiser.

Santa and patrons had experienced elves on site to take photos and help make the day most memorable.

All proceeds from Santa Paws benifit the Helping Hands Humane Society and makes it possible for them to care for more than 7-thousand animals each year.
