TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Police are looking for two men who broke into a Topeka home Monday evening, burglarizing and injuring two people.
Lt. Scott Gilchrist says police were called to a burglary at 936 SW Orleans around 8:40 p.m. When they arrived, authorities were told a home invasion had taken place.
Two people were taken to a hospital for minor injuries. One of them went by ambulance, the other was taken in a personal vehicle. They told police that two people invaded the home.
One of the suspects is described as a short, black man, wearing a stocking cap at the time of the invasion.
Police say the other suspect was described as wearing a blue, puffy coat, stocking cap, gloves, and had a black semi-automatic handgun.
