TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Gunfire narrowly missed a group of adults and children inside a Topeka home Sunday night.
Topeka Police officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of SE Illinois at about 9:21 p.m. Sunday after someone called in gunshots in the area. Officers found a house had been hit by gunfire. They said the gunshots passed through the house, just missing occupants, including several children.
As of Monday morning, no suspect information was available. Authorities ask anyone with information to call the Topeka Police Department at 368-9551 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
