Police Investigate Overnight Robbery In Ogden

OGDEN, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Riley County Police Department is searching for an armed man who robbed an Ogden convenience store.

On Monday, June 11th at about 2:10 AM a robbery took place at the Casey’s General Store, located at 329 Riley Ave in Ogden.

Two employees- Carolyn Thornton, 21, and Shanequa Martin, 20- were working at the store when a male entered and demanded money after indicating he had a weapon.

The victims complied and the suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Thornton and Martin were not injured.

The suspect was described as:
A White Male
5’7” to 5’8”
Skinny build
130-150 lbs

He was wearing:
Silver wire-frame glasses with large lenses
A blue hooded sweatshirt
A camouflage colored scarf or cloth mask partially covering his face
Dark blue jeans
