Police ID 3 People Arrested During Raid

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Police have identified three people who were arrested after police executed a search warrant at a Topeka home Thursday.

Maryam Zayed, Patrick Sean Freel, and Kenneth Raymond Benedix were all taken into custody in the 1300 block of Macvicar before noon Thursday.

Police said Thursday that he three were arrested on charges related to narcotics. Specific charges were released on Friday.

Zayed is charged with criminal damage and theft under $1,000.

Freel faces 5 drug count charges.

Benedix is being held on charges out of Jackson County. He had a battery conviction in 2011. His warrant is for unpaid costs, according to authorities.

About a dozen law enforcement officials were on scene Thursday at the time of the arrests, including undercover officers, Sheriff's deputies and Topeka Police.
