TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka police are still searching for a man who robbed a local payday loan store at gunpoint Thursday.
Officers were called just after 12:00 p.m. to the Check Into Cash store on SW Plaza Drive after a man walked in and demanded money.
Lieutenant Haggard tells 13 News they are looking for a black male described as 6', weighing 150 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and jeans, and white sneakers.
Officials say the man was armed with a silver handgun and got away with an unknown amount of money.
