TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Police successfully pulled a car out from the Shunga Creek Wednesday.

Officials began investigating the scene yesterday on reports that a car was found in the lake. They returned today to investigate further.

A cadaver dog was brought to the creek but nothing was found in the area.

No vehicle identification number was found when officials pulled the car from the water.

Officials are still investigating, but say they have found cars in the creeks and rivers before.
