TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-On Saturday December 1, 2012 at about 3:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery to an individual at the car wash located on the lot of Deer Creek Shopping Center (SE 6th and Deer Creek Parkway.) Paula J. Depue, 34, Topeka was at the car wash, when she was approached by an armed suspect who demanded money.
The suspect was described as being a black male, 5’6”, heavy set, 20's, wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, armed with a black semi auto handgun.
The suspect was last seen running north from the car wash with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported by victims or witnesses.
Investigation continues, police ask anyone with information to call detectives at 368-9400 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
