TOPEKA, KAN. (WIBW)-Officers responded to an armed robbery which took place Saturday evening around 6pm in the Dillon's parking lot along the 2000 block of SE 29th st.
Police say 30 year old Gerald Lister was in the parking lot about to enter the store when an unknown black male, he describes as five foot eight and 220 pounds wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a gray and white stocking cap, displayed a weapon and demanded the bag Mr. Lister was carrying.
No injuries were reported but the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 234-0007
