TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority met Monday to discuss future plans for Billard Airport.
Board members had a conference call to discuss the master plan for the airport. They're required to develop such a plan every decade.
The board approved hiring the planning firm Kauffman Associatesto study and provide the master plan. MTAA President Eric Johnson says the plan is updated to consider how things have changed and where to go in the future.
Topeka Billard Airport is used mainly by private pilots, charter operations and corporate aircraft.
