TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Better Business Bureau is warning small businesses to be alert.
A new phising scam is going around that downloads a virus onto a computer to look for information such as bank account numbers and passwords.
Officials say this is the second biggest phising scam in the country right now.
The virus is received via email to look like a complaint has been filed against the business.
When recipients attempt to view the complaint, a virus is downloaded onto the computer.
