Person Shot At South Topeka Strip Club
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Callers reported multiple gunshots fired in the parking lot of Tina's Bar, 5910 S Topeka Blvd., early Wednesday morning.
Shawnee County Sheriff Sgt. Todd Stallbaumer said the call came into dispatch at 1:45 a.m. Suspects in the shooting left the area prior to officers' arrival.
One person was found shot at the scene and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Shawnee County Sheriff's deputies located a vehicle in the 2800 block of SE Kentucky that authorities say was involved in the shooting. The driver and passenger were taken to the Sheriff's Office to be interviewed by detectives.
The Topeka Fire Department, Shawnee Heights Fire Department, Topeka Police Department, and AMR assisted in responding to the shooting.
The case is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives at 368-2200.
