TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW/AP) -- The children of a murdered Atchison County woman have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against their father, and a man who has been convicted in their mother's killing.
Patricia Kimmi's children filed the lawsuit on Monday, before the statute of limitations runs out.
It alleges that their father, Eugene Kimmi, conspired with two people, Roger and Rebecca Hollister, to kill her.
Roger Hollister is serving a life sentence for kidnapping and killing Kimmi in November 2009.
Rebecca Hollister and Eugene Kimmi have not been charged in criminal court.
The lawsuit seeks more than $75 thousand.
