MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police are investigating a break-in at a Manhattan home after the residents returned and found their liquor gone and patio in disarray.
Officials say sometime between June 17-27, 2012, someone broke into a house on Sharingbrook Drive off of Anderson Avenue and had a party at the home.
According to police, the homeowner is an employee at Kansas State University.
Reports indicate that $650 worth of liquor was missing. Also, $300 worth of crystal glasses and $450 worth of patio furniture were damaged.
The investigation into the burglary continues.
