TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- Topeka Fire Crews quickly put down a fire at the Westside Stamp and Awards building late Monday night.
Shawnee County Dispatch told us this fire was reported around 10:30 p.m. after somebody called authorities and said they saw smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters said flames were showing when the arrived on scene minutes later.
Fire crews had the fire out in about fifteen minutes.
Nobody was inside the building at the time.
An investigation revealed the fire started in a production area, but the exact reason why is still under review.
Damage to the building is estimated at $60,000, damage to the building's contents is said to be $400,000.
