TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- A portion of Highway 75 from Topeka to Osage County is closing for a couple of months for road work.
K-Dot says the northbound left lane of US-75 closed Wednesday for a 9.5 mile project.
It stretches from the four-lane portion beginning south of the Topeka Boulevard intersection to 1.5 miles south of the US-56 intersection.
Weather permitting, the project will last through early October.
The purpose is to overlay a hot mix asphalt on all mainline lanes.
