TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Community Blood Center is in critical need for blood for those in the greater Topeka area.
Last year 28 thousand individuals in the Topeka area needed blood transfusions.
This year the local need for blood transfusions is expected to rise.
On Wednesday July 11th, the Community Blood Center drive will be held at the United Methodist Church located in the Fellowship Hall.
The blood drive will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. One donation can help as many as two local hospital patients.
M-F 5-8AM, Noon, 4PM, 5PM, 6PM & 10PM
