Osage County Sheriff Warns Of Increased Auto Theft

OSAGE COUNTY (WIBW) -- The Osage County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help cut down on increasing auto thefts in the area.

The Sheriff's department cites increased car thefts and burglaries in the area over the past couple months.

They say eight vehicles have been stolen since April.

To prevent car theft, they remind the public to remember to take the keys and all valuables out of the car. Remember to lock it.
