TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Celebrations of faith forms the spiritual bookends to a fun-filled week of Fiesta Mexicana.
Parishioners celebrated opening mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Sunday morning.
It was the first time leading the mass for Father Anthony Ouellette. He began his service at the parish just four days ago having transferred from Osage City.
King Edwin Martinez and Queen Michelle Garcia-Hubbard also took part in the ceremony as part of their duties as newly crowned Fiesta King and Queen.
