TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A popular Topeka buffet is still standing after a fire broke out late Friday night.
Around midnight, Shawnee County dispatchers said a Topeka police officer called in a fire at Coyote Canyon at 1251 SW Ashworth.
Flames and smoke were reportedly calling from the restaurant's electric sign.
The Topeka Fire Department Police Department were called to the scene and the fire was put out quickly. No other damage was reporterd other than the destroyed sign.
