Obama To Address Joplin High School Grad Class

JOPLIN, Mo. (WIBW) President Obama will serve as commencement speaker and address this year

President Obama at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Washington, D.C.

Joplin, Missouri is still recovering after devastating tornadoes ripped through the community nearly a year ago.

The resilience and selflessness the city showed is why Joplin High School is looking forward to a special commencement speaker at this years graduation.

President Obama will serve as commencement speaker and address this year's graduating class and their families during the annual ceremonies which will be held at Missouri Southern State University on Monday at 7:15pm.

The Commander-In-Chief is scheduled to arrive at the Joplin Regional Airpart at 6:30pm
