TOPEKA, (WIBW) - The Topeka Public Schools Foundation received a rather large donation from the Kansas ONEOK Foundation Thursday.

The ONEOK Foundation donated $5,000 to the schools. The money will be used to purchase a new ActivBoard for the Special Opps classroom at Topeka High School -- which received a makeover last August with the help of Jack Hishmeh.

The room now has new carpeting, painted walls and new cabinets, thanks to Jack's leadership and local companies helping with the repairs.

The ActivBoard, which is an interactive white board, will allow students to interact with special needs students.
