TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Northwestern Mutual gave Easter Seals Capper Foundation a big donation.

The company's wealth management advisor David McAbee presented Capper Foundation officials a $12,000 check Monday. The gift coincided with the "Week of the Young Child."

McAbee then read to children in Capper's Kidlink preschool.

Three other Easter Seals offices will receive money through the "Click for Kids" program. The program was a Facebook campaign where Northwestern Mutual donated money to non-profit organizations based on fan votes.

Capper will use the money for classes for parents and care givers through the "Make the First Five Count" program.
