TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Those who don't use Shawnee County refuse can still take advantage of their curbside recycling services.
Public Works Director Tom Vlach told commissioners Monday that non-refuse customers will be able to get recycling pickup for $7 a month.
The service launched in January -- at the same time, drop-off sites will go down to eight from the current 25.
Vlach also says they'll start offering smaller containers-- right now, everyone is receiving a 95-gallon size, but could possibly request 65 or 35 gallon containers later.
