TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A drug bust in the Abilene and Solomon areas landed nine people behind bars.
The Dickinson County Drug Enforcement Unit along with the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department and Abilene Police executed eight arrest warrants in Solomon and Abilene.
It stemmed from a month long investigation into distribution of meth and prescription drugs.
Officers arrested James Atkinson, Jeremy Brown, David Vilcot, Heather Walls, Cynthia Rittger and Timothy Hosie all of Abilene.
Solomon residents Sean Carolan, Rellena Crowe and Benjamin Faulkner were also arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.
The estimated street value of the drugs confiscated is more than $7,000.
